Is SanDisk Extreme III 2GB SD Card Memory Card a lot better then the normal SanDisk 2GB SD ?

I'm thinking of which one to buy for my camera, but I don't know which one to get. Money doesn't really matter, as I can get the Normal one for ВЈ8 and the Extreme for ВЈ12

Only if you are shooting video on a P&S camera or if you are shooting "shootgun" method action shots. Most sports and action photographers shoot at the peak of action, so shooting at high fps speeds (the reason for highspeed cards) is not
