How can I use S-video output from laptop to TV?

I have a laptop with core2duo processor and presently using XP professional as operating system. The laptop has a s-video port. My TV also has s-video port. I could only project the laptop matter (say a movie) into TV screen using F5 button like using

NVIDIA-Geforce GA7400 is a Good Graphic card and should give good Video Output on your TV.

I think there might be some configuration issues.

First update the latest drivers for your Graphic Card.
