What is the notebook presenter 8000 mouse passkey?

I have a notebook presenter 8000 mouse and it says i need a passkey. With the mouse i didn't recieve a passkey. Does anyone know what I can do?

Microsoft's website for the 8000 does not mention an passkey, the only solid reference to it I found was at the site below. They suggest not entering a passkey, have you tried that? I assume so but, its all I can find for the moment.
