flat lcd monitor ntsc tft

I recently installed XP Pro on an old computer. Works great but won't shut down automatically. Any ideas?

I just get the screen that says it is safe to shut down your computer now.
The computer is a Pentium I - 233.
Otherwise everything works great.

Sure. In order for a PC to fully shut down it has to have an ATX compliant mainboard. The old ones don`t have it. That`s why. Nothing to do sorry.
