If an asset appreciates by 100% over 50 years, how much does inflation erode that appreciation?
Assuming historical US inflation rates over the last 50 years.
Ok, I'm talking about bare land that is nearby a growing city. Obviously. Because what other asset appreciates 100% in 50 years?
An asset is an investment. As long as the investment holds value it shouldn't matter what deflation and inflation does.
Honestly this wouldn't be such a problem if the world didn't run on mostly credit.
