I have a computer desk and i want to install a fan but im not sure how to go about it.....?

I have an enclosed computer desk and i would like to install a fan. Im not sure what kind of fan to get but somehow i want it mounted on the desk itself. My desktop is on all the time and I just want some extra cooling. I can modify the desk if needed.
