Computer cannot communicate with Lexmark x75 printer!?

I have a Lexmark x75 printer that will not print. The power light and status light are both blinking and when I try to print a test page it tells me "cannot communicate with printer". What can be wrong? I've changed the usb cord with a new one.

Have you installed the correct and most updated drivers? Download the most recent drivers from the link below. You might have to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
