Why does my computer switch off with wireless modem router installed?

Successfully running wireless modem router, all connected 100%, but why does my computer switch off after left idle for 1 hour? This has happened 4 times since installation this afternoon. All the modem lights are on and every thing's still connected

...because power savings is turned on.
