I just purchased an external hard drive to free up disk space on my computer. Can you walk me through this?
My main goal is to free up disk space. A message keeps popping up on my comp telling me I'm running low. Picture files are pretty much to blame....I have tons of them on this computer.

I assume it is either USB or eSata (the cable you connect with). Plug the cable into the appropriate port (USB port) plug the power into the wall for the drive into the wall. Wait a few seconds and there will be a popup by the clock saying windows found
