How good is a Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI Sound Card?

I'm not looking for a spectacular sound card im just looking for something that works and is better than onboard sound(as mine "broke" recently)...

Yeah, onboard sound card is horrible. You should upgrade to a Creative sound card. Using a PCI sound card is also more professional since you can record the computer audio in exact quality.
